Scarlett Beacham (aged 7 yrs) from Camelia Cottage, Burton had the idea of arranging a cake sale to raise funds for the Burton play area project. Scarlett planned the event and with the help of family members organised and hosted the event on Saturday 23rd July at their home. The event was a great success and she raised a grand total of £110 for the project. The cakes were delicious and as can be seen from the attached photographs were a large assortment. A lot of effort and hard work was put into the event and Scarlett particularly should be congratulated for making this happen
At last nights BCA Committee meeting a vote of thanks was made to Scarlett for her contribution towards a community initiative.
