Heated Pews
We are raising funds to furnish our church with heated pew cushions. Your donation will help St Mary’s give an even warmer welcome to church visitors.
St Mary the Virgin, Nettleton and Burton is a Grade I listed building dating from 1290 and sits at the heart of the community. Over the centuries, its vaulted ceiling has seen parishioners come together for weddings, christenings, funerals, and in times of local or national mourning and celebration.
Any donation – no matter how small – is welcome.

We are also offering an opportunity for you to to have a name plaque affixed to a pew for the following donations:
- £100 for a full pew
- £50 for half a pew
- £35 for a third of a pew
Whether you want to commemorate the birth of a baby, the memory of a loved one, to celebrate an achievement, or simply to register your family’s support of St Mary’s, a name plaque provides a lasting tribute.
Your donation will help maintain St Mary’s, a building of exceptional architectural and historic interest, and support local community activities.
