This Wednesday is Lent Lunch in the church.
Over Lent many of the churches in our Benefice hold a special lunch. The Lunch starts at 12 noon and goes on till 1.30pm, or longer if people are still chatting over coffee/tea.
The money raised by donation from the lunches goes to a charity not the church.
All from around the Benefice are invited.
At the moment I have only chosen the meaty soup, cream of chicken. I will be going through my recipes to find a vegetable soup that is seasonal.
As it is Lent there is no dessert.
It would be lovely to see more of you on Wednesday. Please let us know if you would lke to come
